LIFESCI 4M03 Downtown Visit to Relay Coffee
LIFESCI 4MO3 (Research Seminar: Exploring Coffee Science) is a 4th year seminar course all about the interdisciplinary nature of coffee science with an emphasis on societal implications.
Recently, I was able to partner with Relay Coffee Roasters to have a lecture downtown with owners Jason Hofing and Rachel Hofing where students were exposed to the science of roasting coffee beans and of course were able to taste various coffees – all in the spirit of experiential and community engaged learning.
Thank you all for the opportunity to create this teaching opportunity!
