The School of Interdisciplinary Sciences (SIS) invites qualified applicants throughout the year to various positions including the following opportunities:

Teaching Assistant applications for the Spring/Summer 2026 semester are open for applications March 1 – March 15th (11:59PM EDT). There are no exceptions to this deadline.

Available Class B Positions:

SCICOMM 2A03: Foundations in Science Communication (Class B only, 65+3 hrs, Spring/Summer 2026).

There is no advantage to applying early, all applications will be assessed after the deadline and not on a rolling basis.

Only applicants who are identified for interviews will be contacted in the weeks following the applications closing.

Those who have already been assigned 260 hours of Teaching Assistantship(s) at the time of application may nevertheless apply. Once the preference note above has been taken into account, applicants who have already been assigned 260 hours of Teaching Assistantship(s) may be offered the position, but in order to accept such offer they must obtain and submit written approval to work such additional hours pursuant to section 2.4.3 of the SGS calendar in the case of graduate student applicants, and from the appropriate Department Chair in the case of undergraduate applicants.
