McMaster is simply the best program out there. Their faculty are top notch and know the perils of catering only to their own teaching preference. Alternatively, each professor takes great care to create an learning environment that not only caters to the individual teacher’s preference but the learner’s preference as well. Something you will be hard pressed to find elsewhere in other institutions.
How Did The MRS Program Help To Prepare You For Your Post-Graduate Endeavours?
The program inspired a passion for my profession. In short, I LOVE my job. I love teaching and inspiring people who are curious and/or entering into the profession. MRS not only gave me an large arsenal of skills to thrive in this profession amongst other graduates from other schools but furthermore, it gave me a genuine delight in what I do. The skills taught in this program are not merely technical skills that aren’t transferrable. With wise insight, the various professors entrusted everyone of us with the tools needed to succeed and thrive in other gladitorial arenas of various professions. I know colleagues who used this field as a means to jump into thriving careers as physician assistants, some stayed within the field and became medical equipment specialists helping large companies develop the future technology of tomorrow. Some have chosen to go onto pursuing their doctorates in the Radiation Sciences to further study the varying mysteries that remain this awe-inspiring science. I, myself, chose to go the teaching route and decided to pursue and complete a Masters in Medical Education. All is to say, this program gave us all the skills to thrive in all these other arenas.

The MRS program was incredibly attractive because I could graduate with both a degree and a diploma, providing me with amazing practical skills and practicums. Furthermore, McMaster is an amazing school and I could really envision myself here.
