Synthesis Integrated Science Symposium 2021
Synthesis 2021 will take place April 5th -13th
Synthesis is an academic symposium run entirely by students enrolled in the iSci program. The symposium is a chance for iSci students to showcase the work they complete, including individual projects and fourth-year theses, while communicating the importance of interdisciplinary research to the greater McMaster community.
This year, Synthesis will feature some exciting guest speakers including Dr. Eduart Reinhardt and Dr. Zeinab Hosseinidoust who will be sharing their current research on reconstructing coastal environments and antimicrobial superbugs. Students can also look forward to the walk across Canada competition and various workshops including a fitness workshop run by our Dean of Science, Dr. Maureen MacDonald, interview preparation workshops, and a grad panel with our very own iSci alumni.
